Gluck Park Community Build Days – Help Create a New Playground for Local Youth

Our friends at the Niagara Falls Community Development Department invites volunteers to participate in Community Build Days at Gluck Park on Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 8A until 12P, both days. You can help install a new playground at Gluck Park, under supervision from certified playground installers.

The new Gluck Park playground is being funded by a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Their team is using this new park investment as an opportunity to bring residents and local volunteers together in the spirit of cooperation.

“Let’s come together as a community and build a new Gluck Park playground, improving the quality of life for surrounding neighborhood in the process,” said Seth Piccirillo, Director of Community Development.

This project is the 28th public park/space improvement executed by the City of Niagara Falls since 2011.

Volunteers that are interested in the Gluck Park Community Build Days should contact Seth Piccirillo, Director of Niagara Falls Community Development, at seth.piccirillo@niagarafallsny.gov or (716) 286-8800.
